History and evolution of Thai Massage
Psico-Spiritual Anatomy
Chakra Balancing
Dosha Analysis, and Ayurvedic healing traditions
Pranayama (Breathwork) techniques
Intense study and practice of Hatha Yoga Asana postures, assisted positions, and modification poses in all four positions (front, back, sitting and sidelying positions)
Thai Herbal traditions/ Thai Herbal Hot Compress Massage
Comprehensive hands on demonstration and hands on training to build a foundation upon which to practice the ancient art and healing practice of Thai Massage
Basic healing protocols and "Chronic Pain Treatments" to be applied on the mat, and on the massage table
Teaching Method:
Provide low-risk step-by-step learning of Thai massage and bodywork modalities through hands-on demonstrations and hands-on practice in small group settings
Plan for building individual success incrementally

Help students to become more effective and confident through guided practice and establishing basic Traditional Thai Yoga Massage routines and protocols
Students will
learn:
The theory of Nuad Bo-Rarn- Ancient Thai Yoga Massage as an aspect of a complete holistic medical system and be able to evaluate benefits, indications, contra-indications and limitations for the use of Thai Massage
The theory of Sen energy lines and location of the ten major Sen lines used in Thai Massage, along with their key functions
To apply pressure to the Marma points along the Sen lines, combined with gentle rocking, compression and assisted yoga-like stretches to allow energy flow, to relax tight muscles, open stiff joints and to balance body, mind and spirit
The development of moves, techniques and appropriate sequences and movements for use either on the Thai mat or on the massage table in isolation or as part of a full body massage

Asian Spa therapies:
Education and training in advanced Thai massage treatments and hydrotherapy procedures of body and face care. Students will learn how to make and apply a Thai hot herbal compress massage, Thai facial massage, Thai detox massage, Thai Reflexology and a variety of other Thai body care treatments.
On completion of the course each student will have:
A good understanding of how to give a full body Thai Yoga Massage
Be able to use this type of bodywork in conjunction with any other known traditional massage therapy or modality
A new appreciation and awareness of body mechanics, whether performing Thai or other types of bodywork
NCBTMB and Florida State required hands-on massage continuing education hours for re-licensing
It also will provide students with the basic training that would enable them to continue learning the original Art of Traditional Thai Massage and Asian bodywork
Program graduates will be encouraged to continue with one-on-one practice sessions with our instructors to further develop the skills learned in the class
